last day on Long Island.

Of course the day I'm supposed to fly out, it starts to rain. Praying that my flight isn't delayed. I have an early morning training session on Wednesday. It was a nice little quick trip to New York. My father's 60th birthday party was really fun. I don't know if he was really surprised or not, but it was still a really good time. It's so interesting to see your parents age. I also cannot believe how long my parents have been together and how strong their relationship is. I envy my parents their marriage - I only hope that one day that's what I'll have. Part of me thinks that's why I'm still unattached - I'd rather be alone than deal with anything that's subpar.

It was fun to see all of my old friends - had lunch with the work girls and spent some time with my high school friends as well. I don't really miss New York at all, but I do miss all of my friendships. I'm just trying to convince everyone to move to SF =) I'm doing pretty well on that front so far!

Anyway, I have a lot to do before I head to JFK, so let me get on that. Just wanted to pop in and say hello!
